Street Art

In this editorial, I wanted to explore the relationship between luxury and grunge. How does luxury and art fit into the concrete harshness of New York City? Clothes are a means of self expression and artistic creativity. What does walking art look like in an everyday world? I styled the looks for this shoot, including shoes, accessories, hair, and makeup, and I shot all of these images with a Canon EOS 5D with a fixed lens. The photos are taken around New York City on the Upper East Side, and I focused on choosing shooting locations that felt urban and familiar. I edited all of the images in Photoshop. The items featured in this editorial are: secondhand Chanel long vest, vintage Chanel beaded dress, secondhand Chanel sequin jacket, Chanel crossbody, and Chanel bag.
